Worst Class Ever Guide

Maps and classrooms

Updated · Database

Quick answer

The demo had three settings: the Daytime Classroom (a bright room with a lecture hall, corridor lockers, the teacher's office and an elevator between floors), the Evening Study Room (lights off, the teacher hunts with a flashlight) and the Computer Lab on the 4th floor (added October 23 — students sneak games on the PCs and the teacher reads screens from the aisle). The November 10 release promises up to 10 classroom themes; their names weren't published before launch.

The Computer Lab, with students at partitioned PCs

Daytime Classroom

The default map. Rows of desks with drawers, a podium with the wooden pillars, a blackboard the teacher writes on to recover Stamina. Beyond the room: a lecture hall (lighting re-baked Oct 21), a corridor with lockers (players used to get stuck inside them — fixed 0.1.6), the teacher’s office holding the Teacher’s Lunch, and an elevator between floors (an “elevator available” notification was added 0.1.6). Every classroom back door opens.

Evening Study Room

The same school after dark. Lights are off; the teacher gets a flashlight. For students the rule is simple — never be in the beam. Some fan pages call this the “blackout classroom”.

Computer Lab (4th floor)

Added October 23 after the demo passed 300,000 players. Students sit at partitioned PCs and play games instead of eating; the teacher patrols the aisle and can see monitors from behind. The same update let students leave their seat while holding an item and widened the gap between the pillars.

Launch: up to 10 classroom themes

The October 27 announcement lists “up to 10 unique classroom themes” for the November 10 release alongside 8-player rooms, a female homeroom teacher and ~20 room settings. Funcore didn’t name the rooms. Screenshots show a rooftop running track and a toilet block, so expect the school to grow beyond classrooms. We’ll add each map here with its source after launch.

FAQ

How many maps are there?

Three in the demo. The launch announcement says up to 10 classroom themes; names and layouts hadn't been shown as of November 5.

What's special about the Computer Lab?

It has its own prank — playing games on the PC — and its own risk: the teacher can see your screen while walking the aisle. Players called that unfair on the forum.

Is there a playground or PE map?

Screenshots show a rooftop running track, and players suggested an outdoor PE mode, but no PE map was announced for launch.

Why is the Evening map hard for students?

It's dark. The teacher carries a flashlight, so the beam is the only thing that matters — stay out of it and you're invisible.
